Date/time of the free workshops?

Saturday, May 4 2023 inside the Boeing Center at Tech Port, we will be hosting our workshops.   Friday, May 3, 2024, we will NOT be hosting workshops.
Workshops will begin immediately after the opening ceremony which will kick off at a little after 9:00a.m.

Who can attend the free drone workshops?

Teachers, public, visitors, parents, or anyone with interest in learning about the drone related content discussed in our workshops.

Cost to attend workshop?

Free, however first come/first serve.  Limited seating.  You must register to attend.  Those who do not register, will not be allowed to enter the workshops.  For safety purposes, we must be made aware of all visitors.

Does the workshop come with a certificate or PD hours proof?

Yes, Aha Education will be providing certficates upon request.  Those certficates will relfect your hours spent in workshops.

How long is each workshop?

30 min to 1 hour

WORKSHOP PD (Free for all.  This list might upgrade):

1. How to bring drones into Middle School and/or High Schools
2. Drone hardware, accessories, types, tools, and uses
3. Hands-on workshop: Earn your drone recreational license in 45 minutes
4. Hands-on workshop: Fly several different drones.
5. Fly legal and avoid insane FAA fines and penalties
   1. Getting (FAA ATC) approval to fly your drone
   2. Registering your drone on the FAA website
   3. How to get your FAA license to fly commercially
6. Earn rediculous cash for flying your drone ages 16 and up
   1. Jobs come to your mobile device like an Uber driver
   2. Work at your leisure
   3. $150/hour average
